Bangladesh Canberra Friendship School
For 17 years, the Bangladesh Canberra Friendship School (BCFS) has been a lifeline for children in the delta region. Since opening in 2009, the school has survived only through the generosity of donors. Every teacher paid, every pen and notebook, every lesson taught!
Computed, never typed. Raised totals are summed from donation records every time the page loads. Nobody can type one in.
Costs published. An appeal shows what the money buys before you give, alongside the figure it has raised so far.
Zakat kept apart. Zakat-eligible appeals are marked wherever they appear, and reported separately from the rest.
